First Time Out

It was the first show Amelia had been able to get her new two year old into. Amelia honestly didn't know much of the filly's background before she got her. She knew her previous owner was trying for a specific coloring when breeding for this girl but didn't get what she wanted. Eva, as Amelia had come to call her, had been at Rouge for a month now and had settled in well. She had come in with only a little training but she had picked everything up quickly.

Amelia had entered Eva in a halter class, the first one she'd ever been in. It would be interesting to see how well she would do. They went through the class rather well. Eva had taken to tossing her head when trotting lately but she only did it a few times before settling down. She showed off her wonderful stride and movements. She was good looking for a two year old and no doubt would turn into a great mare. They stopped for the lineup and final inspection. Amelia was able to lead her golden filly out with a smile, knowing she did wonderful for her first show.

Horrible face is horrible. >.> Still not very good with people. She looks awkwardly fat...or mis-proportioned, I don't know. Oh well.
